1st May 2015 I used to think songwriting and composing were only done at the piano. So, of course, I was often filled with guilt for not spending more time at the piano. It was my dear friend, the songwriter Meg Christian who taught me that time spent doing errands is part of the song-writing process. 1st May 2015 A few years ago, at a crossroads some would call a trivia, I embarked on a new endeavor that brought my performance work in Women’s Music to a close. Having enrolled in a 3-year PhD/Psychology program at the University for Integrative Learning, I went on to complete a dissertation entitled “12-Step Sponsorship & Psychotherapy: In Search of A Hybrid Therapeutic Modality” and opened a practice offering integrative counseling to the community.
